A lot of the reviews say this is temperamental and mine did fail BUT I’d got it wet when I washed it up. I think there must be some sort of sensor so the power isnt connected if the link between the pot and the base isnt dry. Once it had properly dried out it was fine and no problems since. There are no cleaning instructions provided. I rinse mine out, keeping water away from the connector, and then wipe inside. The non stick has worked very well so far. I think if you are careful cleaning then it will be fine. The hot froth is amazing – just perfect. I use full fat milk but my daughter uses oat milk and that’s good too. Cold froth collapses quickly but if you want a milkshake use a blender.
