A great powerful blender. Solid base unit. Plastic jug appears sturdy with metal blades and metal rotary system underneath, which looks reliable. It just slots on rather than clicks on, which I found odd, as it appeared to be a little flimsy but it worked great. My only flaw is that the plastic jug is tall and thin rather than short and stumpy. I found it taller than any other blender jug. It works good (so far) so keeping, but just disappointed in its height. I cannot put the lid on it to store on the counter as it is too tall under the cupboards above.
