Product Care & Support

Warranty & Faulty Product Policy

At MisterChef, we stand behind the quality of our products. If your appliance develops a problem, our Customer Care team will be happy to assist.

01

12-Month Manufacturer's Warranty

MisterChef appliances are supplied with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty for normal household use.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and product faults covered by the terms of the warranty.

It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidental damage, failure to follow the operating instructions, unauthorised repair, commercial use or use of the appliance outside its intended household purpose.

Your manufacturer's warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

02

If Your Appliance Stops Working

Please stop using the appliance and contact MisterChef Customer Care.

For safety reasons, do not open, unscrew or attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

Some electrical faults cannot be diagnosed externally. Where necessary, the appliance will need to be returned to MisterChef or an authorised technician for inspection.

03

Warranty Inspection

Our technician will inspect the appliance to establish the cause of the failure.

04

Manufacturing or Product Fault

If our inspection identifies a manufacturing or product fault covered by your warranty or statutory rights, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with UK consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy.

Where we are responsible for the fault, MisterChef will bear the necessary reasonable costs associated with providing the applicable statutory remedy, including applicable postage costs.

05

Misuse or Customer-Caused Damage

The manufacturer's warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or use contrary to the operating and safety instructions.

For our Pizza Makers, examples include:

  • Oil, grease or liquid entering internal electrical components
  • Using the appliance contrary to the supplied instructions
  • Using the appliance as a conventional oven
  • Leaving the appliance operating for prolonged periods contrary to the instructions
  • Continuous or commercial use
  • Operating the appliance empty where prohibited by the instructions
  • Unauthorised opening, modification or repair
  • Other customer-caused damage or neglect

If inspection establishes that the failure was caused by misuse or customer-caused damage rather than a product fault, the repair or replacement will not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Where reasonably possible, we will explain our findings and may provide photographs or other information from the inspection.

06

Returning a Product for Assessment

Please contact Customer Care before returning an appliance.

Do not send an appliance to us without obtaining return instructions.

Because some failures require internal inspection, we cannot always determine whether a problem is a manufacturing fault or customer-caused damage until the appliance has been examined.

We will explain the appropriate return or inspection procedure when you contact us.

07

Important Information for Pizza Maker Owners

MisterChef Pizza Makers are designed for normal household cooking use.

They are not conventional ovens and are not designed for continuous or prolonged operation contrary to the operating instructions.

Always follow the cooking, operating and safety instructions supplied with your appliance and switch the appliance off after use as instructed.

Failure to follow these instructions may cause damage to the appliance and may invalidate the manufacturer's warranty in relation to damage caused by that misuse.

08

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Your statutory remedies will depend on the circumstances, including how long you have owned the product and the nature and cause of the problem.

This manufacturer's warranty provides additional protection and does not replace your statutory consumer rights.
